“Ebisukaki” is said to be the origin of Bunraku, a traditional Japanese performing art.
It is a traditional performing art based at the Nishinomiya Shrine in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.
The puppet show Ebisu-za was revived for the first time in 150 years.
As modern-day “Ebisukaki”, they perform puppet shows all over Japan and the world, bringing happiness to everyone from children to the elderly.
